I mean, he codes, he blogs, plays video games, he composes, and he sings: I want to be Cabel when I grow up. (Editor’s note, graduating from college would be a good time to start that grow up thing).

Who else would film bugs in Saints Row then edit them together with musical theatre? I present to you: Buggy Saints Row: The Musical

Why does this trailer (25 MB H.264 file) for the Xbox 360 game Gears of War feature the music ‘Mad World’ covered by Michael Andrews & sung by Gary Jules (but originally written by Roland Orzabal of ‘Tears for Fears’), which is most identified as the music from the ending credits of Donnie Darko?

Anyone?

Not that there’s something wrong with it… it the trailer looks fantastic and the music definitely sets the mood, but it still seems like a very odd choice for a trailer.

…for Windows Vista only. WTF? What a bunch of money grubbing bastards trying to force people to upgrade like that. There’s absolutely no technical reason to do this. Also, by that time that Vista ships won’t Halo 3 be out for the 360…?

Wired announced the 2005 winners of it’s annual Vaporware Awards today and it’s a great list. The Vaporware awards are a longtime favorite award of mine (probably because I always agree with the nominations unlike the damn Oscars). Anyway, it’s funny stuff. Be sure to check out earlier years for some extra laughs and retrospective.
