So there’s this band, they’re called Ra Ra Riot, which is an awesome name, and, since I’m writing about them here. you’d be correct to assume they are an even better band than their name implies. It’s kind of hard to describe their sound but here’s my best attempt: string-backed free-flowing indie pop/rock. But instead of my descriptions, why don’t you just go download this song from their new self-titled EP called Each Year (5.2MB MP3). Listen to it nice and loud and just try to keep from jamming along.

The new EP is packed with six fantastic tracks and I can’t really recommend it enough. It’s now available direct from the band or from Insound or iTunes

This is one of those bands that will be the buzz of the indie scene pretty soon, so check them out now before they get signed and sell out just so you can say you heard of them first-ish. In the mean time I’ll shamelessly pimp them to everyone I know… (I’m working on grandma right now).
