Apple’s real plan for iPod video?

In his weekly column called The Clicker, Stephen Speicher has an interesting take on Apple’s strategy for releasing a video enabled iPod without more content thant a few shows by ABC to back it up on the iTunes Music Store. He sees it as a device that will encourage piracy of TV and movies over BitTorrent driving the studios back to Apple willing to negotiate more acceptable terms for online distribution of their content.
